2. Committee positions for the Preemie-L committee for 2001
Tammy Bangs to remain as President
Sheila Brown to remain as Secretary
Committee members continuing - Suzanne Kurtz, Julie Honeyman, Anne Casey,
Allison Martin, Mara Tessler-Stein (by proxy)
Anne advised that Laura Williams and Gary Hardy intended to resign but no confirmation has yet been received.
The committee agreed not to replace resigning members with new members unless it
becomes necessary at a later date.
Motion to defer the committee position of Treasurer to the non-profit
board of Preemie-L

3. Mentors Committee
Motion to establish the Mentors Committee for the development of one to one
support on Preemie-L

4. Non-Profit board
Motion to recognize the non-profit board, Parents of Premature Babies Inc., as having jursidiction over all financial matters for Preemie-L.

The Preemie-L committee wishes to thank Michael and Laura Williams for offering their time, effort and expertise to set up the non-profit organization.
5. Conference
The committee agreed that progressive updates on the Preemie-L conference, 2001, would be helpful.

conference made by Sheila Brown

6. Fundraising
The committee agreed that periodic updates on the the status of fundraising for Parents of Premature Babies Inc. would be helpful.

7. Promotion
This agenda item has been deferred until the November committee chat.
8. Early Edition newsletter
Tammy discussed the difficulty gathering material for articles for the Early Edition. New authors are also needed, particularly for the e-male column. Several suggestions for male contributors were made and these will be followed up.
